Portrait of Hsing-Hao Wu

Hsing-Hao Wu

Professor, National University of Kaohsiung (NUK), Taiwan

Prof. Hsing-Hao Wu is a professor of economic and financial law at NUK. His research covers comparative environmental law and policy, international trade & the environment, and technology safety law. He has served as Vice President for Administration and Dean of the Office of International Affairs at NUK, and currently directs the International Relation Research Center. His recent work focuses on climate change impacts and legal–institutional responses in water resources, disaster management, and energy transition. He earned his S.J.D. from Indiana University Bloomington.

Portrait of Minh Thong Pham

Minh Thong Pham

Associate Professor, Adelaide University

Dr Pham focuses on developing greener, more cost-effective and more durable structures. His research aims to improve the prefab construction technology with significant time and cost savings, while also improving work-zone safety. Dr Pham has developed structures that require no formworks and less manpower on construction sites, showcasing their excellent performance against traditional structures. He is also developing rubberised concrete using waste car tyres for infrastructural applications like roadside barriers, footpaths, and play yards. Dr Pham's research has attracted over $750k in research income, and he has been recognized with numerous honors and awards, including being ranked in the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University and Elsevier. He is also an Associate Editor of Innovative Infrastructure Solutions and a member of the editorial boards of International Journal of Protective Structures and Journal of Science and Technology in Civil Engineering.

Portrait of Quoc-Bao Bui

Quoc-Bao Bui

Senior Lecturer, Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam)

Quoc-Bao Bui received his PhD in 2008 at ENTPE (Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics de l’Etat) Lyon, France, and his HDR (Habilitation) in 2023 at University Lyon 1, France. From 2011 to 2016, he worked as Associate Professor at University Savoie Mont-Blanc, France. Since 2016, he has joined Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam) as Senior Lecturer. His research interests cover from materials to structures: non-conventional materials (soil-based materials, recycled materials, geopolymer, graphene-based nanosheets), energy-efficiency buildings and structural analyses (static and dynamic behaviour). He has published more than 50 articles in international journals, 4 books and 2 book chapters. He has been coordinator or member of several international and national projects. Dr. Bui is also Editorial Board member of two international journals.
